We will embark on an exhilarating 8-day off-road motorcycle tour from Ouarzazate, immersing ourselves in the rugged terrain and breathtaking landscapes of Morocco.

Itinerary, 8-Day KTM Moto From Ouarzazate :
Day 1 : Arrival in Ouarzazate
- On the first day of the 8-day Motorcycle Tour from Ouarzazate, you’ll arrive at Ouarzazate airport. From there, a short shuttle will take you to our luxurious 4-star riad-style hotel. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can arrange a comfortable minibus road transfer from Marrakech.
Upon arrival, your bike will be ready and waiting for you.
After completing the necessary paperwork for the bike, you’ll have the rest of the day to unwind and enjoy yourself. You can relax by the pool or venture out to explore the vibrant neighborhood. In the evening, indulge in a delicious buffet dinner offered by our hotel.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate – fum Zgid.
- Start your day with breakfast at 08:10, followed by departure at 09:10. You’ll cover 18 km on asphalt before hitting the first track of the day. The journey spans 82 km before encountering asphalt again, providing ample time to acclimate to the bike and terrain.
Expect winding and undulating tracks with occasional loose rock sections. After a refreshing stop on tarmac, embark on a 50 km stretch of hard, fast, and winding sand, requiring vigilance for unexpected challenges.
Following lunch, enjoy a scenic desert walk over low hills leading to a plateau en route to Fum Zgid. Arrive at the hotel where a refreshing swim and a cold beer await.
Day 3 : Foum Zguid – Oualid Driss.
- Today’s adventure takes you deep into the dunes. Depart from the hotel and drive five kilometers on the road to Foum Zguid for refueling before venturing into the desert. Traverse rocky terrain until reaching the dry bed of Lake Iriki, followed by a 40-kilometer fast crossing leading to the western side of the Chegaga dunes.
For those opting to explore the dunes, cover another 40 km of medium-sized dunes before lunch at the bivouac. Alternatively, take a 62 km route avoiding the dunes. After lunch, navigate a sandy riverbed and cross a plateau before reaching asphalt at M’Hamid. Finally, a short drive brings you to a three-star hotel offering relaxation by the pool and a refreshing beer.
Day 4 : Oualid-Driss to Hotel in the Ouzina Desert.
- Embark on a day of swift travel toward the Algerian border. Depart at 9:00 a.m. for M’Hamid for refueling before traversing small dunes and sandy riverbeds towards the village of Tazzarin. Pass through palm groves along the Draa River, anticipating occasional military stops near the border with Algeria.
Enjoy fast and scenic desert tracks, stopping to pay respects at the crash site of Elmer Simons, marked by a stone cairn. Lunch at the Desert Lodge by Lake Mader precedes a 60-kilometer stretch of sand and fesh-fesh leading to the Desert Camp beside medium-sized dunes. Climb a 60-meter dune for a sunset toast before dinner and entertainment around a campfire.
Day 5 : Hotel in the Desert from Ouzina to Merzouga.
- On this short day, explore the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Depart after breakfast at 9:10 a.m. toward Erg Chebbi, home to more than 20 cathedral dunes over 100 meters high. The road cuts through an open plain with acacia trees, offering sandy and rocky sections for fast driving.
Arrive at the hotel for coffee, settle in, and head back out to the dunes until sunset. Enjoy a beer atop one of the highest dunes as you witness the breathtaking view.
Day 6 : Merzouga – Dadès Valley .
- Prepare for the longest day, traversing fast desert sections and slow mountain passages across the Jbel Sagro mountain range. Depart at 9:00 a.m., following the first 50 km from the previous day’s route.
Expect diverse terrain, including a challenging 11 km river crossing, fast plateaus, and impressive dune climbs. Enjoy lunch at a local inn in a desert village, followed by thrilling paths through sand and mountain ranges. End the day with a buffet dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 : Dadès Valley – Ouarzazate.
- Journey west through the Dades Gorge after breakfast, navigating fast sections and rocky paths through gorges and ravines. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a plateau, followed by sandy riverbeds and fast tracks leading back to Ouarzazate.
Day 8 : Departure from Ouarzazate Airport or Hotel.
- On the eighth day, you’ll be transferred to Ouarzazate airport for your departure.
